One of the best racing games... ever. In my opinion. It is legendary 
It is exactly what hard core racers want. Huge air, huge tricks, big speed, great graphics and realistic enviroments... And it so much fun.
Th only thing I dont like about it is it doesnt have multiplayer, just onlne. But a game like that I guess would be hard to split.
But meh, i suggest you try it out. You can get a demo from the PSN Store...
